Lilo’s Promise Presents: 

“Artistic Expressions” Art Auction Benefit

I was asked to be apart of this benefit. Lilo's Promise Animal Rescue www.lilospromise.com, 

take dogs from bad home situations or facing euthanasia at high kill shelters and give them housing, love and training until they are ready to take the next step toward being a treasured pet.  Lilo's helps all breeds but specializes in our beloved pitbulls.  These misunderstood and mismanaged kids get trapped in the system and need every advantage they can get.  

The Artistic Expressions Art Auction on April 10, 2010 is to benefit Lilo's Promise.  They need to raise the funds to continue their work and to reach their goal of doubling the amount of dogs saved in 2010. I am honored to be apart of this. Please help Lilo's Promise in helping the dogs.

Barnstormers at Joshua Liner Gallery

Danni Shinya Luo and I are in NYC and we went to the Barnstormers show at Joshua Liner Gallery. Here is a few pieces in the show I liked.

Hardground Plate

Just applied hardground to my zinc plates, appox. 6"x9" in size. I dyed my papers last night, still a bit damp, colors and patterns on paper seems promising. Looking forward to printing.

New Pen n Ink drawing for my newest Etching and Screen Printing series

Just finished this ink drawing for my newest collection of etchings and screen printing. I'm also considering turning this piece into a painting as well.   Let's see how I do with my etchings and screen prints first.

My Friend Andrew Hem's show

I went to visit my friend Andrew Hem this week. We both had our show on the same night, his at LeBasse, mine in Corey Helford, so we decided to meet up afterwards and go to each other's show then. Did I mention he is a great artist?
